An architectural facade refers to the exterior face or front of a building, especially the principal or most visually prominent side. It typically includes elements like windows, doors, cladding, and decorative features, and is designed to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The facade serves as the building’s public face, providing a first impression, while also contributing to energy efficiency, structural integrity, and environmental interaction. This quality creates new possibilities for the architectural playground; something architects are eager to experiment with. Various colours and versions are existent, with different materials, textures and patterns to fit the architect’s requirements. Problem of heat is not very well catered to with these conventional methods. More heat resistant, better techniques need to be introduced very soon to protect our beautiful nature. Many developed countries have already introduced the concept of smart construction whereby lesser use of conventional construction methods is made to achieve better results.
